New floor plans including single family homes for sale are hopefully soon to come to Old San Jose on the River in Jacksonville Florida.

Old San Jose on the River originally came online as a high end luxury condo project with some town homes and some coach homes too. With the great success that has been had here and the high demand for new construction we are submitting our plans to the city for even more new homes here including some single family residences. The plans have not yet been approved but we are excited to hear soon from the powers that be on their approval on the rest of the riverfront / waterfront property here at Old San Jose. We know the demand is high for new construction, we have had front row views of the inquires. Some folks have asked for single family plans to choose from so we are attempting to fill that request.

We have some premium waterfront lots and some lots just off the water that will soon be approved for new product is all goes according to plan.

We are planning on a new decorated model too to tour and will keep you posted as to it’s progress once it is approved. We know this will be a super popular product and have taken the input of many of our home owners and perspective home owners as to what they would like in a new home in Jacksonville. List of Improving Housing Markets Nearly Doubles in January

January 9, 2012 - The number of housing markets showing measurable improvement nearly doubled in January with the addition of 40 new metros to the National Association of Home Builders/First American Improving Markets Index (IMI), released today. The IMI now boasts 76 improving markets, up from 41 in December, with 31 states and the District of Columbia represented by at least one entry.

The index identifies metropolitan areas that have shown improvement from their respective troughs in housing permits, employment and house prices for at least six consecutive months. New entrants to the list in January…for more click here.

(Oct. 26, 2011) – Old San Jose on the River <http://www.oldsanjose.com/> , the riverfront community located on San Jose Boulevard near Jacksonville’s historic San Marco district and Downtown Jacksonville, will host The Garden Club of Jacksonville’s 90th Annual Flower Show and Home Tour. “Modern Mediterranean Muse” will be held Nov. 18 from noon to 4 p.m. and Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and visitors will enjoy a standard juried flower show with horticulture and design divisions staged in four decorated model homes throughout the Old San Jose on the River community. Ribbons will be awarded to entries in both divisions, along with four “Viewer’s Choice” awards for the most popular entries chosen by guests at the show.

“We are pleased to partner with The Garden Club of Jacksonville for its fall show and look forward to providing an elegant backdrop for the designers to display their creations,” “The homes at Old San Jose on the River offer unique villa-style luxury, which will pair beautifully with the exhibitions.”

The horticulture division features amateur growers presenting a minimum of 48 plants grouped according to classes and grown for a minimum of three months. Design exhibitors must be members of a federated garden club and have knowledge of the principles and elements of design. Design exhibits will be displayed in the four condos, each with a special theme including “Perfect Pied-A-Terre” and “Winter Warmth.” Fictitious “owners” have also been created for each model based on size and decor to provide the personality of an occupied home.
